Shandong Province Unveils Third Batch of 10 Strategic Emerging Industrial Clusters

The Shandong Development and Reform Commission has recently released the list for the third batch of strategic emerging industrial clusters in Shandong Province.

The 10 industrial clusters on the list include the Life and Health Industrial Cluster in Jinan Innovation Zone, the New Display Industrial Cluster in Qingdao West Coast New Area, the Inorganic Non-metallic New Material Industrial Cluster in Shizhong District of Zaozhuang, the Semiconductor Industrial Cluster in Yantai Economic & Technological Development Area, the Robotics Industrial Cluster in Zoucheng of Jining, the Functional Fiber and Composite Materials Industrial Cluster in Daiyue District of Tai'an, the High-end Offshore Wind Power Equipment Industrial Cluster in Rushan of Weihai, the Low-altitude Economic Industrial Cluster in Rizhao, the Biomanufacturing Industrial Cluster in Yucheng County of Dezhou, and the High-performance Green Chemical New Material Industrial Cluster in Boxing County of Binzhou.

The Shandong Development and Reform Commission will timely assess the progress of the industrial clusters' development, actively support clusters with significant achievements in areas like innovation platform construction and key project reservation, and prioritize their recommendation for national-level strategic emerging industrial clusters.
