2024 Yellow River Basin Collaborative Science and Technology Innovation Conference Held in Jinan

Recently, the 2024 Yellow River Basin Collaborative Science and Technology Innovation Conference was convened in Jinan. Under the theme "Strengthening Regional Collaborative Innovation and Advancing Ecological Green Development", the conference invited more than 260 guests, including officials from relevant departments and bureaus of the Ministry of Science and Technology, science and technology departments from other provinces and regions along the Yellow River, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and representatives from various universities and research institutes.

Deepening the collaborative scientific and technological innovation in the Yellow River Basin, focusing on enhancing industrial scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and developing new productivity tailored to local conditions are crucial steps towards establishing a regional innovation hub, fostering coordinated regional development, and contributing to China's goal of becoming a leading nation in science and technology.

At the conference, the Cooperation Agreement on Scientific and Technological Innovation by Science and Technology Departments of Provinces and Regions along the Yellow River, the Cross-regional Collaborative Innovation Cooperation Agreement for Provincial Capital Cities in the Yellow River Basin, and the Declaration of Cooperation among Universities along the Yellow River to Aid the National Yellow River Strategy were signed. A total of 52 technology cooperation projects, amounting to RMB 560 million, were agreed upon, and 58 innovation requests totaling RMB 394 million were announced.
