Organization of Shandong in Dialogue with Multinationals on Supply Chain Cooperation in Shanghai

On the morning of November 6, Shandong in Dialogue with Multinationals on Supply Chain Cooperation was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Zhou Naixiang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Governor of Shandong Province, and Ling Ji, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy China International Trade Representative, attended the event and delivered speeches.

According to Ling Ji's speech, China's manufacturing industry serves as the "stabilizer" and "ballast" of the global production and supply chain. Shandong has creatively established a high-level exchange platform focused on multinationals, which will further promote in-depth cooperation with these companies and jointly develop a closer and more efficient global supply chain network. The Ministry of Commerce will continue to support Shandong in leveraging its advantages, accelerating the cultivation of new growth drivers for foreign trade, and creating new advantages in international economic cooperation. Shandong will align with high-standard international economic and trade rules, develop platforms for high-level opening up such as China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone and China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area, and become a new hub for opening up. It is hoped that multinationals will invest in Shandong and succeed in China, working together to contribute to the deepening of international production and supply chain cooperation.
