Shandong-United States Clean Technology Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference Successfully Held to Deepen Green Cooperation and Shape a Low-Carbon Future

On November 5, the Shandong-United States Clean Technology Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference was successfully held in Jinan. Sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province and the U.S.-China Cleantech Center, and organized by the Shandong International Investment Promotion Center, this event aims to further expand international engagement, explore the potential for China-U.S. cooperation in the field of clean technology, and identify new opportunities for industrial openness and development in Shandong. Additionally, the event seeks to assist Shandong in accelerating the establishment of a pilot zone for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.

A total of 130 representatives, including those from the Embassy of the United States in China, the U.S.-China Cleantech Center, the Energy Foundation, and 13 multinational corporations specializing in clean technologies such as Comptus, PolyGone Systems, and Cormetech, along with key enterprises from Shandong, convened to engage with leaders of Shandong-based clean technology enterprises. The discussions focused on the development characteristics and market demands related to renewable energy, energy storage, energy efficiency, micro-grids, advanced materials, carbon capture and utilization, wireless charging, and other fields in the United States.
