Nearly 1,400 Doctoral Degree Holders Confirm Intentions to Pursue Careers In Shandong! Exploring a Targeted Model for Talent Attraction

On September 25, the Job Fair for Recruiting Doctoral (Post-Doctoral) Elites to Shandong (Xi'an Station) concluded. With the theme "Gathering Doctoral Talent in Shandong, Enlightening the Future with Wisdom", the job fair was organized by the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Shandong Province and co-organized by Shandong Talent Development Group Co., Ltd. The series event aims to explore a new talent attraction model by market-oriented means, featuring the idea of "holding a recruitment event for a specific group in a city" to ensure full coverage and effective mobilization.

The job fair attracted 2,022 doctoral graduates and postdoctoral researchers from 83 key universities and research institutes at home and abroad, including Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Nankai University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. A total of 4,237 resumes were received and 1,368 doctoral degree holders confirmed their intentions to work in Shandong, which effectively boosted the work progress of recruiting young post-doctoral talent to the province.
