Recently, the Shandong (Lunan Economic Circle)–Yangtze River Delta Key Industry Cooperation and Promotion Conference was successfully held in Shanghai. Representatives from the Yangtze River Delta and four cities in southern Shandong, totaling over 150, attended it. At the conference, 12 projects were signed. Among them was UtmoLight's 1GW perovskite solar module project, which, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, was signed with the Luxi New Area of Heze City.
UtmoLight, founded in 2018, is dedicated to perovskite photoelectric industrialization technology development. Relying on continuous technology R&D and innovation, UtmoLight has established a portfolio of core technologies and products with independent intellectual property rights. As a part of these efforts, UtmoLight has employed Professor Mohammad Khaja Nazeeruddin, an academician of the Academia Europaea, as the chief scientist. Thanks to his help, UtmoLight has applied for 406 core patents in total, of which 272 are for invention. Moreover, UtmoLight has set seven new world records for the efficiency of perovskite modules and has obtained the first TÜV certificate in the industry for its 0.72m² commercial-grade perovskite module.
