In August this year, the capacity of Shandong's power grid to receive external electricity increased to 33 million kilowatts. By the end of August, the electricity generated in Shandong and from other provinces had reached 457.232 billion kilowatt-hours and 98.543 billion kilowatt-hours, respectively.
Shandong's installed capacity of PV power has ranked first in China for seven consecutive years, its new installed capacity of offshore wind power has ranked first in China for two consecutive years, and its scale of new energy storage has ranked first in China... The installed capacity and power generation of new energy and renewable energy had doubled in three years. By the end of June this year, the installed capacity had reached 100.7 million kilowatts, making Shandong the first province in China's eastern coastal region to achieve an installed capacity of over 100 million kilowatts. So far, the installed capacity of new energy in Shandong Province has reached 103.58 million kilowatts, accounting for 46.3%. It is expected to historically surpass the installed capacity of coal power by the end of the year.
