Recently, the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee held a press conference to introduce and interpret the guiding principles from the seventh plenary session of the 12th CPC Shandong Provincial Committee. To become a major economic growth pole in northern China, Shandong will accelerate the formation of ten new advantages for high-quality development, continue to comprehensively deepen reform, strive to be a pioneer in building a beautiful China, stimulate the vitality of high-quality development, and consolidate the positive economic trend for sustained growth.

Shandong will promote the construction of a modern industrial system through reform. To this end, Shandong will continue to transform and upgrade traditional industries, speed up a mechanism for increasing investment in future industries and improve the development policies and governance systems for emerging industries of strategic importance. Meanwhile, Shandong will fully unleash the synergy between the digital and real economies and develop new quality productive forces based on local conditions.

Shandong will also strengthen the construction and guidance of a world-class port cluster. In this regard, Shandong will enhance the supporting role of the land-sea corridor along the Yellow River and the comprehensive transportation hubs in Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai and Linyi, actively build an international logistics channel, and strive to become an important node for smooth domestic and international circulation.
