Shandong recently issued the Several Measures for Optimizing the Law-based Business Environment in the Judicial Administration System of Shandong Province in 2024, clarifying the tasks of the judicial administration system to optimize the law-based business environment.

It highlights the legal guarantee, focuses on key tasks, and connects with annual key tasks. Twelve measures are put forward from three aspects: protecting the legitimate rights and interests of market entities and enterprise operators in accordance with the law, optimizing the business environment of the legal service market, and promoting the iterative upgrading of services for the benefits of enterprises and the convenience of the people.

To optimize the business environment of the legal service market, it is proposed to create an open and transparent access environment, a practice environment of fair competition, and a regulatory environment that combines leniency and strictness. To promote the iterative upgrading of services for the benefits of enterprises and the convenience of the people, it is proposed to further enhance the standardization, digitization and convenience of government services.
