Shandong Makes Multi-directional Efforts to Improve the Quality and Effectiveness of Investment Promotion

Recently, the People's Government of Shandong Province issued Several Policies and Measures on Further Pursuing Economic Progress While Ensuring Stability and Improving Quality, which once again introduced several measures to accelerate the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of investment promotion in Shandong Province.

In the first half of this year, Shandong accelerated the pace of "going global" for investment promotion and actively carried out various investment promotion events. Successful events include the 2024 Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week, Dialogue between Shandong and Multinationals—Deepening Cooperation in High-end Equipment Industry, Deepening Cooperation in Medical Device Industry, and Shandong and Multinational Corporations Matchmaking Event, promoting the quantity stabilization and quality improvement of foreign investment in the entire province.

The Fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit is under intense preparation. Up to now, 473 guests from multinationals have confirmed their participation. This summit will involve 13 main activities, including the Opening Ceremony and Multinationals Development Forum as well as the Multinationals Investment Exchanges and Cooperation Conference. Additionally, it will focus on 11 iconic industrial chains to carry out targeted investment promotion activities for industrial chains and facilitate matchmaking between relevant cities and participating multinationals.
