The 2024 Fortune Global 500 list has been released today. Four enterprises of Shandong, including Shandong Energy Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Company Limited, Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd., and Shandong Hi-Speed Group Co., Ltd., are on the list, with the same number as last year.
Among the four enterprises on the list, Shandong Energy Group Co., Ltd. ranks 75th with operating revenue of 122.3832 billion US dollars in 2023 and has ranked among the top 100 of the Fortune Global 500 for three consecutive years. Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Company Limited ranks 175th, down by three places from last year, with revenue of 73.4845 billion US dollars. Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd. ranks 407th, up by 12 places from last year, with revenue of 36.9288 billion US dollars. Shandong Hi-Speed Group Co., Ltd. ranks 412th, up by 28 places from last year, with revenue of 36.7438 billion US dollars.
It is reported that the total operating revenue of Fortune Global 500 enterprises this year is about 41 trillion US dollars, showing a slight increase of about 0.1% compared with last year. The threshold for inclusion in the list (minimum sales revenue) has increased from 30.9 billion US dollars to 32.1 billion US dollars. A total of 133 enterprises in China (including the Taiwan region) are on the list, presenting a decrease of nine enterprises compared with last year.
