Shandong Introduces Measures to Support the Development of the Perovskite Solar Cell Industry

Recently, Shandong Province has formulated Several Measures to Support the Development of the Perovskite Solar Cell Industry to promote the development of the perovskite solar cell industry, with a focus on cultivating new growth drivers and accelerating green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.

These measures include supporting key technological breakthroughs, implementing sci-tech demonstration projects, establishing public R&D platforms, vigorously expanding the application market, increasing promotion and support efforts, strengthening the construction of the industrial chain, enhancing talent cultivation and recruitment, and strengthening financial support.

The province plans to conduct comprehensive and systematic research on the perovskite solar cell material system throughout the entire value chain while supporting the demonstration application in typical scenarios such as qualified ground power stations. Leading institutions within the province will receive support to take the lead in providing public services such as technical R&D for companies in the industrial chain and academic institutions. The province will establish a regular mechanism for investment and talent attraction, intensify efforts to attract high-quality projects, and build a cluster for the perovskite solar cell industry. Activities such as recruiting high-level talent will be carried out actively, with a focus on bringing in talent (teams) with the expertise required for improving the perovskite solar cell technology and industry.
