14 Shandong Enterprises Included in China’s Top 500 Listed Companies by Market Value

The latest list of China's top 500 listed companies by market value in 2023 was released. According to the statistical analysis of "21 Data News Lab", as of December 31, 2023, there were 8,759 Chinese companies listed on 16 major global exchanges in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Hong Kong, New York, and other places (excluding delisted companies), marking an increase of 104 companies compared with the previous year. The total market value was RMB 121.44 trillion, which basically remained unchanged from that in 2022. Overall, the top 500 companies mainly come from industries such as big finance (77 companies), electronics (57 companies), medicine and biology (42 companies), and information technology (41 companies).

Among them, two Shandong enterprises, namely Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. and Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd., ranked 48th and 69th respectively among the top 100 companies. Compared with the list in 2022, the list in 2023 newly included four Shandong enterprises, namely Zhongji InnoLight, IEIT Systems, SINOTRUK, and Qingdao Port International Co., Ltd. Furthermore, Weichai Power Co., Ltd., Shandong Gold Group Co., Ltd., Goertek Inc., and Zhongtai Securities experienced varying degrees of rise in their rankings.
