Shandong Tops the List in Newly Added National-level Characteristic Professional Platforms

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the 2023 list of demonstration projects for the integration of new-generation information technology and manufacturing industry development. Among the selection, Tany Machinery’s Tianyun Intelligent Industrial Internet Platform, along with 10 other platforms from Shandong Province, have been chosen as national-level characteristic professional platforms. This brings the total number of such platforms to 40, with Shandong leading the nation in terms of both the newly added and total number of platforms.

The industrial internet platform is a carrier that deeply integrates all factors, processes, and industrial chains of the industry with the internet. In the next step, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province will seize the opportunity to construct the Shandong Peninsula Industrial Internet Demonstration Zone, carry out the special action of “Industrial Internet Empowers Shandong”, vigorously implement the industrial internet platform optimization project, and further improve the hierarchical optimization system of “provincial platforms - national characteristic professional platforms - national ‘dual-cross’ platforms” in the province. In addition, it will accelerate the application of the new generation information technology industry in industrial scenarios, better support the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, and contribute to the creation of a new model of industrialization in Shandong.
