Full Implementation of the Construction of the Urban Sub-center Demonstration Area in the Jinan Start-up Area

Recently, the Information Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province held a press conference to interpret the Implementation Plan for the Construction of the Urban Sub-center Demonstration Area in the Jinan Start-up Area. It established the phased construction goal of "determining the framework in one year, shaping the image in three years, and creating the demonstration area in five years", planned for the overall layout of "one center and four zones", and brought forward the planning scope and functional positioning of the Queshan Eco-culture Zone, Headquarters Economy Zone, Urban Balcony, Scientific Research Office Zone, as well as Sci-tech Innovation and Finance Zone respectively.

It is reported that the Implementation Plan has clarified the development positioning of the demonstration area as an "ecological business district (EBD)". It aims to establish a new industrial space carrier organically integrated with ecology and strives to achieve complementary and staggered development with the central business district (CBD) of Jinan.

Regarding the key work in 2024, the Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation has drafted the Key Points of Work for the Urban Sub-center Demonstration Area in 2024 and formulated the List of Projects to Be Implemented in the Urban Sub-center Demonstration Area in 2024, including 102 projects with a total investment amount of 139.2 billion yuan.
