The Addition of Six Provincial-level Manufacturing Innovation Centers in Shandong

The reporter learned from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province that six centers, including the Shandong Industrial Security IoT Technology and Application Manufacturing Innovation Center led by Inspur Industrial Internet Co., Ltd., were recognized as manufacturing innovation centers of Shandong Province. The number of provincial-level manufacturing innovation centers increased to 35. Besides, 10 centers including the Shandong Intelligent Medical Equipment Manufacturing Innovation Center led by Shinva Medical Instrument Co., Ltd. were rated as objects for cultivation of Shandong Province's manufacturing innovation centers.

So far, the National Innovation Center of Advanced Dyeing and Finishing Technology, the National High-end Intelligent Home Appliance Innovation Center, and the National Virtual Reality Innovation Center (Qingdao) have been approved in Shandong. Moreover, it plans to establish provincial-level manufacturing innovation centers around key fields such as carbon fiber, composite materials, and micro/nano sensing. By the end of 2022, 29 provincial-level manufacturing innovation centers had accumulated more than 600 R&D projects, transformed more than 220 sci-tech achievements, made breakthroughs in 243 key generic technologies, incubated 57 enterprises, served more than 700 enterprises, and achieved an operating revenue of 820 million yuan.
