Shandong Launches Effective Measures to Accelerate the High-quality of the County-level Economy

On December 13, the Information Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province held a regular policy briefing to interpret Opinions on Further Accelerating the High-quality Development of the County-level Economy and the Three-year Action Plan for High-quality Development of the County-level Economy in Shandong Province (2023-2025).

In terms of measures for exploration, Shandong focuses on industrial digitalization and proposes to advance the digital transformation of characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises in batches and identify common application scenarios by industry. Meanwhile, Shandong also proposes to build the "industrial Internet platform plus park" mode in batches and promote the application of industrial Internet in industrial parks.

In terms of measures for alignment, based on the existing measures that are in line with Shandong's development stage and environment, Shandong proposes to implement actions to help counties strengthen their weaknesses in urbanization and small towns promote innovation and upgrading.

In terms of measures for improvement, building on the province's previous policies to optimize the business environment, Shandong proposes to implement in-depth actions on business environment innovation and improvement, deepen a new round of reform of the management system of development zones, and revise and improve the catalog of leading industries in development zones (parks).
