The list of provincial-level clusters, strong counties, strong towns, and bases with distinctive local features and advantages in the food industry in 2023 has been officially released. A total of 8 clusters, 12 strong counties, 18 strong towns, and 8 bases landed on the list.

Characteristic advantageous agglomeration areas, industrial chains and supply chains for food are continuously improved. Leading enterprises play an outstanding driving role. Thus, clusters, strong counties, strong towns, and bases with distinctive industrial characteristics, regional advantages, and sustainable competitiveness have been formed. The dynamic management of Shandong's provincial-level industrial clusters, strong counties, strong towns and bases aims to bring Shandong's foundation in the food industry to an advanced level at a faster pace and continuously improve the modernization level of the industrial chains and supply chains.
