Shandong: Study and Plan High-quality Development of Digital Economy

On December 4, People's Government of Shandong Province held an executive meeting to study the high-quality development of digital economy and the new energy vehicle industry.

The meeting emphasized the need to make greater efforts in promoting digital economy, give full play to the decisive role of the market in resource allocation, and better play the role of the government. It stressed the importance of making breakthroughs in key digital industries, deepening digital empowerment of industries, accelerating digital technology innovation, and improving digital infrastructure. It highlighted the need to strengthen the cultivation and introduction of leading enterprises, design teams and high-level talents, and speed up forming new advantages for the high-quality development of the digital economy.

The meeting pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen planning and guidance, focus on improving the overall development level of the new energy vehicle industry chain, accelerate the cultivation of competitive advantages in new energy passenger vehicles, consolidate the leading position of new energy commercial vehicles, actively plan and develop core components, enhance the construction of charging infrastructure, solidly carry out marketing services for new energy vehicles, and strive to build the new energy vehicle industry into an important engine for high-quality economic and social development in the province.
