Exhibition of Shandong Provincial Achievements in Creative Transformation and Innovative Development of Culture Kicked off at Confucius Institute

On November 27, the Exhibition of Shandong Provincial Achievements in Creative Transformation and Innovative Development of Culture kicked off at Confucius Institute. The exhibition consisted of 10 exhibition areas. Through various forms such as flat display boards, multimedia screens, interactive platforms, and sand table models, visitors could immerse themselves in Shandong's achievements in creative transformation and innovative development of culture by means of interaction and participation.

At the exhibition site of Confucius Museum, the patterns of Mount Tai and Yellow River were on the upper and lower steps, respectively. Shandong strived to get the two cultural landmarks of Mount Tai and Yellow River “back to life”, as part of its effort to advance the creative transformation and innovative development of culture. Further up the steps, the whole exhibition was dominated by yellow, which symbolizes the Yellow River and harvest. The exhibition set up 10 exhibition areas to give a complete presentation of the province's landmark achievements in creative transformation and innovative development of culture in the past decade or so.

At the exhibition, a bunch of high-quality research achievements were displayed, which manifested the province's role as a hub of major theoretical and practical research. On August 25, 2019, the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies was established. Until now, 14 domestic sub-centers, 4 research bases, and 4 overseas sub-centers have been set up.
