Six national expert service bases spring up in Shandong

On November 22, the China Expert Service Symposium was held in Weihai. It was introduced that in recent years, Shandong has prioritized talent work and promoted innovation in talent introduction and cultivation. Shandong introduces more than 700,000 talented young people and more than 6,000 postdoctoral fellows every year, with a cumulative enrollment of more than 17,000 postdoctoral fellows.

To leverage the leading role of experts in innovation, Shandong has promoted the construction of expert service bases and information platforms in terms of platforms, activities, brands and services. This year, Shandong added one national expert service base, bringing the total number to six. It also established the sixth batch of provincial expert service bases, bringing the total number to 277, achieving full coverage of key counties and top ten sectors. Various bases have flexibly attracted more than 50,000 talented people.

This year, Shandong has implemented 29 provincial expert service grassroots demonstration projects, supported 2,740 grassroots expert service activities at all levels, transformed and implemented 2,860 projects, and trained 226,000 grassroots talented people.
