Revenue of the "Goose Formation" Clusters of Shandongs Top Ten Industries Exceeds 8.9 Trillion Yuan

On the morning of November 16, the Information Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province held a press conference to introduce the overall situation of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River basin. In recent years, Shandong has taken the construction of a green, low-carbon, and high-quality development pilot zone as a focus of efforts and adhered to the replacement of growth drivers and green transformation. Thanks to these efforts, Shandong has made solid progress in high-quality development, accelerated the transformation of development mode, optimized economic structure, improved development quality and efficiency, and built a growth pole for high-quality development in the Yellow River basin. Meanwhile, Shandong has implemented an action plan to enhance the province's strength in advanced manufacturing and delivered remarkable results in facilitating the upgrading of the manufacturing industry.

Since 2021, Shandong's energy consumption per 10,000 yuan of GDP has declined by 11.1%. Shandong has worked hard to build a modern industrial system. Now, the number of "goose formation" clusters of Shandong's top ten industries has reached 180, with the combined revenue exceeding 8.9 trillion yuan; the number of the cluster-leading enterprises has reached 276, with the combined revenue reaching 3.1 trillion yuan; seven clusters have been selected as national strategic emerging industrial clusters, ranking first in China; a total of 186 enterprises have been recognized as national single champions in the manufacturing industry and 756 specialized, fined, peculiar and new "little giant" enterprises have been cultivated, ranking second and third in China, respectively.
