Shandong Province Key Equipment Manufacturing Projects Promotion Conference Held

On the morning of November 3, the Shandong Province Key Equipment Manufacturing Projects Promotion Conference was held. The main venue was located in Laiwu, Jinan, and sub-venues were set up in Qingdao, Yantai, Weifang, and Jining.

At the main venue, Tan Xuguang, Chairman and Chief Project Director of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, introduced the six new projects invested and initiated last year in line with the replacement of old growth drivers with new ones. These include the Dematic High-end Logistics Equipment Manufacturing Base Project, Weichai Smart Heavy Industry Intelligent Manufacturing Center Project, Weichai High-end Marine Equipment Manufacturing Center Project, Linde Hydraulics Industrial Park Phase II Project, Weichai New Generation Engine Digital Industrial Park Project, and Shandong Heavy Industry Group Green Low-carbon Photovoltaic Power Generation (Phase I) Project. After one year and a half, these projects are ready for operation and production.

Since the beginning of this year, Shandong has made high-end equipment a prominent focus in 11 iconic industrial chains. With the provincial governor as head of the high-end equipment industry chain, Shandong shall vigorously promote the transformation of industries towards high-end, intelligent, and green development, accelerating the formation of a high-end equipment industry system with distinctive characteristics and outstanding advantages.
