315 Key Projects of 2023 Green, Low-carbon and High-quality Development Conference Released to the World via "Select Shandong"

On August 29, the 2023 Green, Low-carbon and High-quality Development Conference opened, during which 315 key projects covering top ten sectors and five major fields as well as 103 projects signed on site were released via the platform "Select Shandong".

Focusing on the theme of "green, low-carbon and high-quality development," this conference selected 418 cooperation projects with a total investment of 1.72 trillion yuan. These projects involve the top ten sectors, namely new generation of information technology, high-end equipment, modern energy, new materials, modern marine, medical care and health, high-end chemical industry, modern efficient agriculture, culture and tourism, and modern light industry and textile, as well as five major fields including modern logistics, major infrastructure, people's livelihoods, eco-environment protection, and platform support. Among them, there are 315 key projects and 103 projects signed on site.

It is estimated that the 315 key projects will witness the annual sales revenue of 1.49 trillion yuan after reaching designed capacity. Among them, 73 projects will achieve the annual sales revenue of more than five billion yuan, accounting for 23.2%, and 46 projects will record the annual tax revenue of over 500 million yuan, accounting for 14.6%. The 315 key projects are composed of 147 newly-commenced projects, 137 projects under construction and 31 completed. Taking this conference as a platform, Shandong aims to seek cooperation with the world in technology, capital, equity, talent and other fields. The 103 projects signed on site are the latest achievements of the province in high-quality investment promotion and talent attraction. Featuring broad cooperation space and development prospects, they also serve as high-quality carriers for entrepreneurs to do business and create more wealth in Shandong.
