Foreign Merchants Sign USD 34.68 Million Worth of Projects during the Third RCEP Regional (Shandong) Import Goods Expo

On August 20, the third RCEP Regional (Shandong) Import Goods Expo ended in Linyi City, Shandong Province. This year's event attracted more than 100 overseas buyers and entrepreneurs and 35 industry associations from 56 countries, with the combined turnover reaching 460 million yuan. During the event, 10 projects by foreign merchants from Russia, Kazakhstan, and other countries together signed contracts worth USD 34.68 million.

In total, 17 national pavilions including Vietnam, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Russia, and the United Kingdom were set up. The exhibitors included many Fortune Global 500 enterprises, covering production, sales, trade, logistics, cross-border e-commerce, and other types. Many overseas procurement teams such as the Pakistan Procurement Service Center, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia and Russia, totaling more than 200, were invited to participate in the event, demonstrating that it has played an increasingly greater role in promoting trade.
