Shandong Innovates the Ways of Attracting Investment and Expands Effective Investment

Recently, it was announced that a land plot with an area of 2,343.42 mu in Jinan's starting area and an investment of 820 million yuan would continue to be used for the production of new energy passenger vehicles and parts. In the first half of this year, the economic investment in new technologies, new industries, new forms of business, and new models in Shandong increased by 10.9% and accounted for 55.6% of the province's total. As multinational companies adjust their investment strategies, the ways to attract investment should also be innovated. For example, Qingdao has built a global venture capital center that gathers more than 2,400 private equity funds so as to attract investment. Next, Shandong will make the digital economy, energy transformation, advanced manufacturing, and upgrading traditional industries the focus of its investment attraction work. Meanwhile, Shandong will follow up the implementation of the major projects with an investment of more than 1 billion yuan, strengthen factor guarantee and enterprise services, and strive to attract more than 250 billion yuan.
