Shandong’s Dongying City Issues Eight Measures to Support the Development of the Biomedicine Industry

Recently, Shandong's Dongying City has issued eight measures to strengthen the biomedicine industry from foundation, momentum, and scale to realize high-quality industrial development and create a new engine for economic growth.

Of the eight measures, four are about biomedical R&D and clinical practice, namely supporting the development of professional R&D teams, supporting clinical trials for products, supporting the industrialization of R&D achievements, and supporting the establishment of industrial development funds with a specific focus on R&D achievement industrialization projects or investment promotion projects; two are planting traditional Chinese medicinal materials and promoting standardized management of traditional Chinese medicinal materials; one is supporting the consistency evaluation of generic drugs; the last one is supporting the contract manufacturing of products that have obtained the marketing approval. Relying on the eight measures, Dongying strives to develop a new leading area for the biomedicine industry and boost the efficient and rapid development of its biomedicine industry.
