Qingdao Artificial Intelligence Industrial Zone Develops Dual Computing Power

In the Qingdao Artificial Intelligence Industrial Zone, the "Heart of the Sea" Artificial Intelligence Computing Center is being built using immersion cooling technology. Once completed by the end of this year, it will be the second computing center in Qingdao, along with the already operational Qingdao Artificial Intelligence Computing Center. As a result, Qingdao will form the only dual computing power center in the north of the Yangtze River. With a computing capacity of 250P, the future computing center will serve as a central hub for intelligent computing in Qingdao and extend its influence to Shandong and the northern region of the Yangtze River.

Computing power not only empowers the digital transformation of thousands of industries, but also lays a strong foundation for handling the transfer and implementation of AI innovation resources. Up to now, Qingdao Artificial Intelligence Industrial Zone has gathered more than 170 AI industry chain enterprises and related institutions, with an industrial scale of 11 billion yuan.

To create a thriving industrial ecosystem, the Qingdao government has issued Several Policies on the Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industrial Zone. It is estimated that in the next three years, financial support funds from the municipal and district levels for zone construction and business development will reach 530 million yuan, and a total AI industry development fund of 1 billion yuan will be established in Qingdao.
