Shandong Issues Action Plan for Leapfrog Development of Cross-border E-commerce

On July 24, Shandong issued the Action Plan for the Leapfrog Development of Cross-border E-commerce in Shandong Province (2023-2025) to promote the further development of cross-border e-commerce in the province.

In the next three years, Shandong will carry out actions in nine aspects: "innovating and improving the model of 'cross-border e-commerce + industrial belt'", "supporting cross-border e-commerce enterprises to become bigger and stronger", "cultivating well-known brands of cross-border e-commerce", "innovating financial support for cross-border e-commerce", "improving the construction and operation level of overseas warehouses", "building a professional and efficient cross-border logistics system", "optimizing cross-border e-commerce talent training", "expanding cross-border e-commerce retail imports" and "promoting trade facilitation". Over the next three years, Shandong will seize the policy opportunities of the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone to optimize the development ecology of cross-border e-commerce. By 2025, Shandong will build 20 characteristic industrial belts for cross-border e-commerce, cultivate 100 well-known brands with strong international competitiveness, incubate 1,000 emerging enterprises, and realize cross-border e-commerce industrial agglomeration, brand gathering, efficient service and ecological prosperity.
