On July 13, the first China Railway Express for the integrated development of nine cities in the Yellow River basin in Shandong Province officially departed. At Jinan Dongjia Freight Center, the first China Railway Express for the integrated development of nine cities in the Yellow River basin in Shandong Province was loaded with 50 trucks of 40-foot containers, transporting household appliances, mechanical equipment, tires, building materials and other goods from nine cities in the Yellow River basin in Shandong Province to five countries in Central Asia through Khorgos Port.

In recent years, Shandong has given full play to its geographical advantages at the intersection of the Belt and Road Initiative, its development advantages of a complete industrial system and large economic volume, as well as its market advantages of large population and huge demand, solidly promoting the high-quality development of "Qilu" China Railway Express. At present, the inter-city routes of China Railway Express in Shandong have increased to 53, directly reaching 56 cities in 24 countries along the Belt and Road. A total of 7,870 trains have been operated, ranking among the top in China, with a cumulative import and export value of RMB 75.8 billion. In the next step, Shandong will focus on strengthening the cooperation with China Railway Express and international aviation networks and international rail-sea intermodal transport, making every effort to build an international multimodal logistics channel so as to boost the high-quality development of China Railway Express.
