The Conference for High-quality Development of Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zones and International Capacity Cooperation Matchmaking Kicked Off in Linyi, Shandong

Recently, the Conference for High-quality Development of Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zones and International Capacity Cooperation Matchmaking sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province was held in Linyi, Shandong. The Conference aims to promote the high-quality development of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones and international capacity cooperation, and help enterprises expand the markets in participating countries of "the Belt and Road Initiative".

Overseas economic and trade cooperation zones are an important platform for enterprises to "go global" for investment cooperation, and a key carrier for international capacity cooperation. In recent years, Shandong has taken active steps to support capable enterprises to participate in the development of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones in accordance with the principles of government guidance, enterprise leadership, hierarchical cultivation, and market-oriented operation, leading to encouraging achievements. Moving forward, Shandong will continue to implement the "Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zones+" initiative. It will facilitate the matchmaking and collaboration between export-oriented enterprises in areas such as China Railway Express, cross-border e-commerce, overseas warehouses, exports, and manufacturing and processing industries with overseas economic and trade cooperation zones. Through joint efforts, these enterprises aim to collectively explore overseas markets, achieve mutual benefits, and foster win-win situations.

At the Conference, promotional presentations were made for 10 overseas economic and trade cooperation zones inside and outside the province, such as Nigeria Public Industrial Park, Angola Aode Industrial Park, Central European Trade and Logistics Cooperation Zone and Linyi Mall in Gwadar Port, Pakistan.
