The State Council Deepens Reform of Key Areas in Business Environment

On June 14, the State Council Information Office held a policy briefing on deepening the reform of key areas in the business environment.  The National Development and Reform Commission, together with relevant departments, will focus on the prominent problems reported by enterprises and optimize the business environment.

First, efforts will be made to deepen market-oriented reform, fully guarantee fair competition, abolish or adjust policies and measures that hinder the construction of a unified market and fair competition, and launch special rectification actions against key issues in bidding. Second, efforts will be made to strengthen law-based support and effectively stabilize the expectations of enterprises. This involves improvement in the top-level design of the law-based business environment, and promotion of the construction of the law-based business environment in an integrated manner from legislation, law enforcement, justice, law compliance, law popularization, and other links. Third, efforts will be made to improve the level of internationalization and steadily expand institutional opening-up.
