Shandong Province Takes the Lead in Exploring the Construction of Provincial-level New Business Forms and Models for the National Industrial Internet Big Data Center System

Recently, several departments of Shandong Province jointly issued the 2023 Action Plan for Collaborative Construction of an Industrial Big Data Center System of Shandong Province, which aimed at building a five-pronged industrial cloud system integrating "big data network, big data node, big data chain, big data brain and big data shield" in Shandong Province and moving faster in making progress in deep integration of the real economy and big data.

According to the "1+3+N+X" overall planning, Shandong will focus on the new generation of information technology, high-end equipment, new energy equipment, advanced materials, ship and marine engineering equipment, and other landmark industrial chains. It will regularly update its provincial-level big data platform of industrial centers and select a group of provincial-level or secondary nodes for industries geared to key industrial parks and enterprises in the industrial chain. This aims to cultivate around 40 provincial-level industry centers and 100 edge data centers while improving the national, provincial, and edge-level industrial internet big data center systems.

With the comprehensive deployment of storage capacity, computing power and operating capacity of Shandong's Industrial Big Data Center, the foundation of Shandong's digital economy development will be further consolidated. This provides strong support for the "cloudification", "big data application" and "intelligent empowerment" of enterprises, thus accelerating the transformation of data dividends into industrial development potential.
