Measures for Supporting the Development of New Forms of Trade and Related Industries in the Qingdao Area of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Officially Released

Recently, the Qingdao Area of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone officially released the Measures for Supporting the Development of New Forms of Trade and Related Industries in the Qingdao Area of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone. This is the first document of measures to promote the development of all new forms of trade in the Qingdao Area since its establishment, which will promote the innovative and rapid development of new forms of international trade in an all-around way.

In total, the document consists of six parts, namely cross-border e-commerce, barter trade, offshore trade, imported consumer goods, automobile trade and service trade.

Specific measures include helping cross-border e-commerce enterprises reduce logistics costs, supporting comprehensive service platforms for cross-border e-commerce in capacity upgrading, cultivating and increasing operation entities of independent cross-border e-commerce stations, strengthening talent training and social training for cross-border e-commerce, encouraging new forms of offshore international trade, supporting the provision of settlement convenience for new forms of offshore international trade, encouraging enterprises to continuously expand imports of consumer goods, supporting the development of industries related to imported cosmetics, supporting imported consumer goods enterprises to participate in exhibitions, supporting the provision of logistics services for imported consumer goods, encouraging the development of automobile exports, and supporting the provision of business guidance for service trade enterprises.
