Zaozhuang City Relies on Its Lithium Battery Industry to Develop New Energy

In recent years, Zaozhuang City has made a big push to implement the strategy of "promoting the development and prosperity of Zaozhuang through industries", accelerate the high-quality development of its industrial economy and build a "6+3" modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing in the fields of high-end equipment, high-end chemicals, new materials, new energy, new medicine, and new-generation information technology playing the leading role. Thus, Zaozhuang City has promoted the fundamental transformation from focusing on "quantity" to focusing on "quality" and from taking shape to gaining momentum in its economic development.

Zaozhuang is working on ten key projects including completing and strengthening the industrial chain for lithium batteries, Luban Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, Xuecheng Lingang Logistics Industrial Park, and New Energy Vehicle Equipment Manufacturing Park. So far, the city has signed 24 projects in a centralized manner and will implement a group of lithium battery projects such as the 100,000-ton double-layer carbon-coated cathode materials for lithium iron phosphate batteries.

Now, the lithium battery industry has become Zaozhuang City's most prominent calling card for investment promotion. In the future, Zaozhuang City will make an all-out effort to create a first-rate business environment, promote rule of law, integrity and efficiency, and develop itself into a destination preferred by people who want to start a business or invest.
