Recently, Shandong Province issued the Action Plan of Shandong Province on Stabilizing and Expanding Employment and Promoting Income Increase, Consumption and Growth. It has innovatively introduced a package of policies and measures to stabilize and expand employment in an effort to consolidate the current momentum that propels Shandong's economy to steadily turn for the better and further promote the high-quality development of Shandong's economy.

Focusing on the employment in key industries, the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, the employment of key groups, and others, the document has put forward 20 targeted and workable measures from eight aspects to promote the benign interaction between employment and economic and social development and promote green, low-carbon and high-quality development.

Shandong will strengthen policy support. Specifically, the province will guide all places to introduce more talent introduction and employment policies throughout the process such as increasing living subsidies, housing subsidies and one-time resettlement allowances, encourage capable cities to offer living subsidies for college students who intern in Shandong and ensure that college students who come to Shandong, settle in Shandong and return to Shandong for work can enjoy equal treatment.
