Russian Delegation Reaches 35 Cooperation Intentions During Its Investigation in Shandong with a Combined Trade Volume of 3.74 Billion Yuan

From April 6 to 8, Russia's local economic and trade delegation led by the president of the All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium Business visited Shandong to investigate matters related to local cooperation. According to preliminary statistics, during its investigation in Shandong, the delegation reached 35 cooperation intentions in the fields such as import and export trade, foreign investment, logistics, education, and tourism with a combined trade volume of 3.74 billion yuan.

On the afternoon of April 6, the members of the delegation attended the Shandong-Russia Enterprise Cooperation and Exchange Meeting hosted by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province. The Russian party organized nearly 40 import and export enterprises to attend the meeting, covering industrial equipment, auto parts, building materials, food and agricultural products, logistics and other fields. In order to deepen practical cooperation, the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province organized more than 200 enterprises for matching with Russian ones according to the intentions and procurement list provided by the Russian party in advance. The two parties carried out one-on-one matching negotiations and achieved fruitful results.

On April 7, the delegation visited Yantai to learn about the natural environment, history and culture, opening-up, natural resources, industrial foundation, and other aspects of the city, further strengthen cooperation in equipment manufacturing, science and education, culture and tourism, transportation, food and others, and promote the cooperation between the two sides to a new level.

On April 8, the delegation visited the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area (SCODA) to gain an in-depth understanding of its construction and the development of Russian enterprises in it so as to explore the space for further cooperation between the two sides.
