Shandong to Set up a Special Incentive Policy for Enterprises that Have Gotten off 2023 to a Good Start with a Reward of Up to 2 Million Yuan

On February 6, 2023, the Information Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province held a press conference under the series of "Unswervingly Promoting High-quality Development". According to the conference, Shandong will set up a special incentive policy for enterprises that have gotten off 2023 to a good start, giving a reward of up to 2 million yuan to the top 100 industrial enterprises based on the compound calculation of output value, growth rate, and other indicators by the end of the first quarter.

Kong Qingcheng, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, said that the Department will strengthen policy incentive and guidance this year. First, a special incentive policy for enterprises that have gotten off 2023 to a good start will be set up. Industrial enterprises in new-generation information technology, equipment, chemical engineering, metallurgy, building materials, textiles, food, and other key fields whose newly added industrial output value and growth rate reach a certain level in the first quarter and which rank among 100 based on the compound calculation of output value, growth rate, and other indicators by the end of the first quarter will be rewarded. Besides, industrial enterprises whose annual cumulative output value growth rate and tax payment increase reach a certain level will be given a reward that varies from enterprise to enterprise and reaches 2 million yuan maximum. By doing so, Shandong Province aims to support and motivate the production of enterprises.
