Shandong Ranks the Country\'s First in Digital Empowerment Projects

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology published the 2022 list of typical cases for the application of the mobile internet of things and the list of pilot demonstration projects for the integrated development of the new generation of information technology and manufacturing. Shandong topped the lists for 11 typical cases and 20 pilot demonstration projects.

Typical cases mainly involve 10 fields, such as the smart factory, smart home, connected vehicles, and cooperative networking. Among the 11 shortlisted typical cases, five including Haier 5G smart factory were industry digitization cases, four like the intelligent environmental protection monitoring in the chemical industrial park at Dongying Port were selected for intelligent governance, while the remaining two including Zhiyang Innovation's intelligent operation and maintenance of electric transmission lines were included in the cooperative networking category.

Among the 215 shortlisted pilot demonstration projects, Shandong had 11 platforms—including the Yunfang industrial internet platform of VictorySoft—selected into the list of characteristic specialized industrial internet platforms. These platforms will provide collaborative services for major industries, regions, industrial chains, and supply chains. Major platforms providing digital transformation services in vertical industries will become reserve forces for Shandong to develop into a national cross-sectoral platform.
