Yantai Culture & Tourism Industry Chain Online Investment Promotion Conference Attracts Over 140 Billion Yuan

On the morning of December 22, the "Joining Hands with Wonderland Yantai for a Better Future" Yantai Culture & Tourism Industry Chain Online Investment Promotion Conference was successfully held. Heads of the Publicity Department of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee, Yantai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and some district and municipal governments attended on site, and more than 60 well-known enterprises participated online. The conference attracted a total investment of more than 140 billion yuan.

At the conference, 63 premium culture and tourism investment promotion projects in 7 categories, including culture and tourism complex, cultural creativity, maritime tourism, island tourism, health care and leisure, idyllic ecology and hotels and homestays, were launched, with focus on 19 "best of the best" projects, such as Sea World, Jiahe New Town Culture and Tourism Industrial Park and Qiushangu Wine Resort. At the same time, six types of industrial chain investment promotion policies cover incentives for fixed asset investment, local financial contribution, Fortune Global 500 investment, enterprise registered capital increase, and tax reduction and exemption, as well as five-star hotel project construction support. On the spot, six district and municipal governments of Zhifu, Fushan, Muping, Penglai, Haiyang and Longkou respectively signed projects with a total amount of 13.8 billion yuan with a number of well-known enterprise groups. The signed projects include historical and cultural blocks, cultural and sports centers, ecological health care, rural tourism and other characteristic business forms, further promoting the extension of Yantai's culture and tourism industrial chain and reinforcement and upgrading of weak links in the industrial chain.
