Yantai Signs Contracts of 30 High-quality Industry Projects

On December 13, Yantai successfully held a centralized signing ceremony of key projects of "Investment and Talent Attraction" in Q4 2022, meeting with representatives of domestic and foreign entrepreneurs online. A total of 30 high-quality industry cooperation projects were signed at the event and all these projects will be implemented within one year.

Among the key projects signed this time, there were 25 investment projects with a total investment of RMB 44.5 billion, covering key industry fields such as petrochemical and new chemical materials, biomedicine, automobile, clean energy, consumer electronics, and food deep processing; and five talent cooperation projects, in which five national and provincial high-level talents will carry out industry-university-research cooperation with Yantai in fields such as artificial intelligence, electro-optic display, and semiconductor materials.

According to data, in the first 10 months of this year, Yantai has kept ranking first in the province regarding the number of projects signed in provincial-level activities. The city has organized 19 major investment promotion activities at the municipal level, promoted the signing of 176 investment promotion projects in key industries with a total investment of RMB 145.1 billion in major provincial and municipal activities, and promoted online and offline matchmaking with enterprises outside the province for 139 times.
