SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Comprehensive Service Platform Launched in Jiaozhou

A few days ago, the SCO local economic and trade cooperation comprehensive service platform was launched in Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province. This is a one-stop public service platform that serves the local economy and trade in SCO countries. Relying on the Single Window for international trade in China, it aims to build an economic and trade information service center and a data exchange center between China and SCO countries.

The platform features three major functions, namely comprehensive information display, comprehensive function application, and comprehensive data release, as well as 8 application modules and 73 sub-functions, according to Meng Qingsheng, a member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area. He introduced that the platform integrates characteristic applications such as cross-border credit inquiry, intelligent inquiry of customs clearance information, and paperless customs transit, and covers the construction of international logistics channels, cross-border trade information sharing, bilateral and multilateral customs clearance, and supply chain finance, aiming to build an integrated public service ecosystem for international trade. Highlighting the nature of being original, integrated, public, and systematic, the platform also serves as an information release center for policy issuance, country studies, industry analysis, and information services. It is the most comprehensive platform that integrates international economic and trade transactions, customs clearance, logistics, finance, and other services for SCO members.
