14 Counties and Cities in Shandong Included in China\'s Top 100 Counties (Cities) in Manufacturing Industry in 2022

China has announced the list of the country's Top 100 Counties (Cities and Districts) for Comprehensive Competitiveness, along with the list of Top 100 Counties (Cities) in Manufacturing Industry in 2022.

Fourteen counties (cities) in Shandong Province are included in the list of Top 100 Counties (Cities) in Manufacturing Industry in 2022, including Longkou City, Jiaozhou City, Shouguang City, Zhaoyuan City, Qingzhou City, Pingdu City, Laizhou City, Zoucheng City, Zouping City, Zhucheng City, Rongcheng City, Laixi City, Feicheng City, and Tengzhou City.

Research shows that the top 100 counties (cities) in the manufacturing industry have strong manufacturing capabilities. In 2021, the GDP of China's top 100 counties in the manufacturing industry amounted to RMB 11.25 trillion, accounting for 9.84% of the national GDP, and the total output value of the manufacturing enterprises above designated size was RMB 1.524 billion, accounting for 13.52% of the country's total. The overall growth rate of the output value of the manufacturing enterprises above designated size exceeded 20%, higher than the national average of 18.8%, showing strong manufacturing capabilities.
