Roundtable Conference of the International Trade and Investment Consultants for Shandong Province Held in Jinan City

On November 16, the Roundtable Conference of the International Trade and Investment Consultants for Shandong Province was held in Jinan online and offline. Joe Zhou, a consultant for international trade and investment in Shandong Province and President DSM China, and other 13 consultants and consultant representatives attended the Roundtable. They had in-depth exchanges with Meng Xiangdong, President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shandong Sub-council, and other relevant officials and leaders, to envision and plan for the quality development of Shandong Province in the new era.

At the Roundtable, Meng Xiangdong gave an overview of the latest economic and social development in Shandong Province. He noted that with the implementation of major strategies, such as the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, and the efforts of replacing old drivers with new ones to promote green, low-carbon, high-quality development, Shandong Province is showing greater advantages such as a prime location, a huge market, a complete range of industrial sectors, and a sound business environment, promising great investment opportunities. He encouraged the consultants and consultant representatives to offer more input for Shandong to serve and get integrated into the new development pattern, realize high-quality development, and expand high-level opening up, to enable more industrial cooperation projects to settle in Shandong and share in the province’s development opportunities.
