246 Key Virtual Reality Enterprises In Shandong Achieved An Operating Income Of RMB 51 Billion In The First Three Quarters

It is reported that in the first three quarters of this year, 246 key enterprises in the virtual reality industry chain in Shandong Province achieved a total operating income of RMB 51 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23%, taking a leading position by the industry scale in China.

Virtual reality is a new generation of computing platforms and smart terminals, followed by computers and smart phones. It has a long industrial chain and covers a wide range of areas, as an important force leading a new round of industrial transformation. In this March, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province led 6 departments involving joint development, reform, education, science and technology to launch and implement the "Three-Year Action Plan to Promote the High-quality Development of the Virtual Reality Industry", and strived to accelerate the formation of “1+4+N” industrial layout with Qingdao-centered, linkage among Jinan-Weifang-Yantai-Weihai and the coordination of other cities" and increase the business revenue of the entire virtual reality industry chain from RMB 60 billion to more than RMB 100 billion by three years 'efforts. At present, the scale advantage of the province's virtual reality industry continues to grow, and 31 projects has been signed and approved, with a total investment of more than RMB 30 billion.

Shandong focuses on creating industrial applications and implementing industrial promotion actions. So far, 58 excellent solutions for virtual reality have been launched, covering key areas such as manufacturing, education, cultural tourism, health, and smart cities.
