Shandong Meihua 5G Optical Communication Industrial Park Expected to Go into Operation in Late 2022

Recently, the construction of Meihua 5G Optical Communication Industrial Park in Heze Economic Development Zone has been sped up.

The main works of the four workshops in the first phase of the project have been completed, with interior and exterior decoration underway. It is expected that equipment will enter in late November and pilot production will start in late December. After reaching its full capacity, the project will create more than 2,000 jobs, making positive contributions to the improvement of Heze's information industry chain that covers optical communication and power devices.

With a total investment of nearly 1 billion yuan and a planned construction area of 180,000 square meters, Meihua 5G Optical Communication Industrial Park includes production workshops and a research base. It is mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of 5G optical communication lasers, optical modules, IGBT power devices and modules, and RF PA modules.

Optical communication is a next-generation information technology industry. Optical communication products are widely used in mobile communication, wireless Internet and wireless data transmission. The project in Heze Economic Development Zone will build momentum and gather energy for accelerating the construction of a 5G industrial ecosystem characteristic of Heze.
