By virtue of its advantaged conditions, Yantai clean energy industry sees leapfrogged development, and ranks first among its counterparts of Shandong Province in four sectors such as the clean energy scale.

In the field of nuclear power, Yantai City pushes ahead with the construction of nuclear power units such as Haiyang Nuclear Power Unit Project Phase II, quickens the pace to build a batch of characteristic industrial parks, and brings in projects in relation to nuclear medical treatment, nuclear power equipment, pipeline, valve, and instruments & apparatuses.

Pushing ahead with green and low-carbon development. Yantai City quickens its pace to prepare its work plan for carbon peaking, and builds a “1+N” policy support system. It formulates intelligent and low-carbon urban development schemes, as well as sifts out and builds a batch of major intelligent and low-carbon urban application projects, demonstration scenes, and significant projects.
