Shouguang Enhances Competitiveness of Whole Vegetable Industry Chain

In recent years, Shouguang has built Danhe Protected Vegetable Standardized Production Demonstration Park, Modern Agricultural High-Tech Pilot Base and other modern parks, taken the lead in unifying and standardizing agricultural means of production, technologies, management, testing, brands and sales, applied IoT, big data, electrification, cloud computing and other technologies in agricultural production, and promoted automatic temperature control, automatic spray irrigation and drip irrigation, automatic ventilation, automatic fertilization and automatic curtain rolling.

Shouguang has made great efforts on brand building by registering "Shouguang Vegetable" as a collective mark for geographical indications. Now the city has two Chinese famous trademarks: "Leyi Vegetable" and "Colorful Manor", as well as 315 certified agricultural products (pollution-free agricultural products, green food, organic agricultural products and agricultural products with geographical indications).

Shouguang has extended from primary products to deep-processed products, to promote the brand-based and high-end development of vegetables. In the future, the city will make great efforts in the whole chain to enhance the competitiveness of agriculture, and create a 100-billion-yuan-level advantageous featured industrial cluster with a reasonable structure and a complete chain.
