Dongying Creates "One Industry, One Platform" Pattern, Aligns R&D with Industrial Needs

Dongying has advanced innovations in ten aspects, built a number of high-level innovation platforms, gathered resources via platforms, and made industrial innovations, thus creating a "one industry, one platform" pattern for innovative development.

With the most appealing policies and a top innovation & entrepreneurship environment, Dongying has attracted various high-end talents, to spearhead and promote all-around innovations, making talents and innovations the main drivers for the high-quality development of Dongying. Dongying has set up a special fund of 10 million yuan for talents, facilitated cooperation among the government, enterprises, and universities, and addressed the problem of enterprise transformation.

Dongying has gathered innovative resources and talents. In the first half of this year, the output value of Dongying's high-tech industries accounted for 38.72% of the total output value of industrial enterprises above the designated size, up 1.73% from the first quarter, ranking 1st in Shandong. Since the beginning of this year, Dongying has passed the national innovation city assessment, ranking 6th in Shandong in terms of regional innovation capability, negotiated with 18 academicians and accelerated substantial cooperation, and brought in 240 high-level talents.
