Zhucheng Fosters and Expands Advantageous Industries, Develops Emerging Industries

Since the beginning of this year, Zhucheng has implemented the spirit of the central, provincial and Weifang municipal economic work conferences, as well as the strategy of "industry-powered development and industry priority", and endeavored to create a "3 + 2 + 3" industrial layout, renovated the three traditional industries: automobile and automotive parts, health food and textile & clothing, fostered and expanded the two advantageous industries: biomedicine and machinery & equipment, and pooled efforts to develop the three emerging industries: new green chemical materials, electronic information and new energy, in an all-out effort to promote the high-quality development of advanced manufacturing.

Zhucheng has pooled efforts for the industrial empowerment action, and created a "3 + 2 + 3" industrial layout. In terms of the automobile and automotive parts industry, led by Beiqi Foton's Zhucheng plant, Zhucheng has developed 92 supporting enterprises above the designated size such as Meichen Industry, Daye Shares and Loxa, and established a collaborative system for the localization of key parts. As Asia's largest economy commercial vehicle production base and China's largest light vehicle production base, it has been selected as one of the "wild goose queue" clusters of Shandong's ten key industries and Shandong's leading industrial clusters. In the first half of this year, Zhucheng's industries such as health food, prepared dishes, biomedicine, textile & clothing and new chemical materials maintained double-digit growth or higher.
